In the fall of 2008 we had Binder Heating replace our furnace in our 1938 home. With old windows and hardwood floors our home was cold! The efficiency of the new furnace allowed us to crank the heat all winter to stay warm. Despite having the heat on high we actually saw our heating bill go down. In January 2010, Binder Heating replaced our old furnace of about 30 years with a new, high-efficiency furnace from Trane. Since this is my wife's and my first home, we had never dealt with furnaces before and so before I made the call I really didn't know what I was looking for. After a representative from Binder came to my home, I felt much more comfortable with the decision to upgrade - I even got a little bit of an education too which was helpful! We went with the 2-stage variable speed, 95% efficiency furnace from Trane and we couldn't be happier. Additionally, I had them install a humidifier (a must have for those dry Minnesota winters) and some duct work as well and I am more than pleased with how both jobs turned out. Definitely will be calling them in the future when I finish the rest of my basement!
